Privacy policy

This policy describes Night Shift Calculator at https://night-shift-calculator.netlify.app/, operated by Ramesh Choudhary from Pune, Maharashtra, India. By using the site you agree to this policy. Contact: rameshchoudhary8675@gmail.com or the contact form.

Salary and calculator data

CTC, nights, hike figures, tax inputs, and the shift log are processed in your browser. They are not posted to our servers when you tap Calculate. If you tick “Remember on this device,” values stay on that device only. Clearing site data or unticking Remember removes them. We cannot see or recover your CTC from here.

If you export JSON or CSV, that file lives on your device. If you share a WhatsApp message, a result card, or a link, you choose the recipient — we do not send that message for you.

Share links for nights, hike, and in-hand carry a night count, a hike band, or which tax regime won. They do not include the CTC you typed. A guide can still open the calculator with a public sample, and that sample is in the address. Analytics, when enabled, is set to record the page path without the query string.

Forms

The waitlist, hike reminder, and contact forms send only the name, email, and message you type, so we can reply or send rare seasonal reminders — not calculator fields. Do not paste CTC into a form.

Cookies, ads, and analytics

Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and IP addresses, because ads and measurement run on this site.

• Google AdSense may serve ads and use cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, limit how often you see an ad, and detect invalid traffic. Ads may be personalized based on your activity on this site and other sites, unless you opt out.
• Google Analytics records page views and similar usage so we know which tools are used. It does not receive your CTC field.
• Our hosting and delivery provider may receive standard request logs (such as IP address, browser, and URL) to serve the pages.

To understand how Google uses data when you visit partner sites, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Optional products we link to

Buy Me a Coffee, Gumroad (paid tracker pack), and Arthya are separate services. If you open those links, their privacy policies apply. We do not sell your salary data to them.

Children

This toolkit is for working professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).
