How to get a useful number out of this toolkit
There is no account. Salary stays in the browser. The homepage has four tabs. Most people only need the first one on a busy roster week.
Fastest path: try a sample
On the homepage, tap Try a sample (₹12L, 18 nights). You will see a monthly allowance using the common 25% of daily CTC model. That run does not write to Remember. Reload the page if you already had your own CTC saved and want it back.
Then replace the sample with your CTC and actual nights, and Calculate again. Tick Remember on this device only if this phone is yours.
The four tabs
1. Nights
Use this when you want “what did this month’s roster pay?” Choose estimated % (default 25% of daily CTC, 240 working days) or the fixed rupees your HRMS already shows. Results sit on the right on a laptop, under the form on a phone. Optional: share a link (it includes the numbers), download a result card, or send WhatsApp, X, or LinkedIn — never required.
If you have a start and end time instead of a count of nights, including a roster that finishes the next morning, use the night shift hours and differential calculator. 22:00 to 06:00 is 8 hours. You type any differential; the page does not assume a statutory rate.
2. Hike
Last CTC vs the letter. You get nominal %, real hike after an inflation placeholder (edit if you have a better CPI for your city), CTC needed to keep last year’s buying power, and a new-regime in-hand delta. Copy the notes, then talk to HR. The letter still wins.
3. In-hand
Compare new vs old regime on this CTC, or enter an effective tax % if you already know it. Old-regime 80C/80D only if you actually use those. HRA is not modelled. Illustrative, not a CA filing.
4. Log
After a night calculation, add the month. Totals follow the Indian financial year (April–March). Export CSV/JSON for your own sheet. This is not an HR submission.
Make the most of it
- Run Nights first, then Log, so FY totals mean something by March.
- Before you sign a letter: Hike → In-hand on the new CTC.
- If policy is a slab (₹800/night), switch to fixed rupees. The % model will only confuse you.
- Payslip ≠ calculator is normal. Use this for order of magnitude, then confirm with HR.
- Language: EN / हिंदी / मराठी in the header.
60-second tour
Open a short tour from How to use in the header or the homepage strip when you want a walkthrough. It does not block the page on its own. Skip it if you already know the tabs.
